New Delhi: The third arrest has been carried out in connection with the murder of the national conference leader Trilochan Singh Vizier whose body which was very decomposed was found in a flat in Moti Nagar in West Delhi, police said on Sunday.
Wazir’s body, a former member of the Legislative Council of Jammu and Kashmir, with his head wrapped in a plastic bag found on September 9 in the bathroom flat, which was rentured by his introduction of Harpreet Singh (31), a native of Amritsar, according to the police.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (specific cells) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said the defendant, Harmet Singh, had been arrested from Jammu.
The murder case was then transferred to a branch of the crime along with assistance from the Special Cell of Police Delhi was working on this case to arrest the suspects.
This is the third arrest in this case so far while the raids are still carried out for the big Nab Harpreet Singh.
Police previously arrested two people from Jammu – Rajender Chaudhary alias Raju Ganja (33) and Balbir Singh aka Billa (67).
The four defendants have planned to throw the body at the Metro station or IGI airport and visit those places but cannot succeed, police said.
They had planned his murder for the past two-three months and instilled false evidence to mislead the police, taking inspiration from the film Bollywood “Drismam”, they said.
