Moscow: The death toll from a shooting at a university in the city of Russia Perm on Monday has increased to 8 people and several others were injured, said the Investigation Committee law enforcement body.
Unknown actors use a non-deadly gun, according to Perm State University press service.
Students and university staff lock themselves in the room, and the university urges those who can leave campus to do it.
Law enforcement officers were seen near the shooting place at the University in Permata Gunman then detained, said the Russian Interior Ministry, added that the shooting made several dead people, but did not clarify how much.
