Oslo: Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg will be appointed as head of the next Norwegian Central Bank, the VG daily reported on Friday, quoting anonymous sources.
The Norwegian government said it planned to give the name of the New Norges Bank on Friday.
Aftenposten newspaper separately reported that Stoltenberg, who lived in Brussels, was seen in Oslo on Thursday.
