New Delhi: Chararjit Singh Channi, Minister of Punjab’s First Minister of Punjab, got emotional in interaction with the media after taking an oath when he talked about his humble origin and thanked the Congress to “provide great honor to Aam Aadmi”.
“I came from a family that has a house made of mud and straw.
I am a representative of a poor man, whether it’s a poor farmer or worker.
I myself took a pedicab.
My father has a tent business and I use to supply chairs (on a pedicab ), “Channi said with a choking voice.
Channi said he would be the voice of Punjab’s layman and would always be accessible to the people, adding that the government was “Aam Aadmi” Sarkar.
Thanking the party’s leadership, Channi said Congress had given a good person for a great honor.
He described Rahul Gandhi as a “revolutionary leader”.

There is no power relationship from a poor man who will be cut off to postpone the bill,” Channi said.
“We must strengthen Punjab.
This is a farmhouse.
I begged the center to attract agricultural law.
I will decide but I will not allow the loss to the farmers,” he added.
Channi also said the government would soon release farmers’ water and electricity bills.

“The new government does not have vendetta to anyone.

Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and O P Soni, the two ministers came out in the Cabinet Amarinder Singh before, also given an office oath and confidentiality by the Governor of Punjab.
They will be named as Deputy Ministerial Minister.
While the 62-year-old Randhawa is a legislator three times and currently represents the assembly constituency of Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdapur Regency, Soni is 64 years old, holds the Ministry of Medical Education and research in the cabinet of Amarinder Singh-LED.
