Apple will soon launch new features with iOS 15 releases which will allow iPhone users to track their lost pro and Aipods airpods.
With an iOS 15 update, Apple will add support for the ‘Find’ network.
“Use my network to get the estimated location of the airpods pro or airpods max.
This will help you get Bluetooth distance so you can play voice and find it,” Apple said on the support page.
Apple has not revealed the date of releasing the feature and just mentioned “came later this fall.” Apple released a big update to the Findmy Ecosystem application with iOS update 15.
If you lose the iPhone and the device is turned off even if you will be able to track the location of your missing iPhone with the Findmy network.
This feature will be available for newer iPhones.
Apple has introduced Bluetooth tracking devices using the Findmy application ecosystem with iOS 13.
However, the biggest problem is when the device is turned off tracking it is not possible.
With iOS 15 updates, if your iPhone is stolen and the thief decides to turn it off even though you will be able to track it.
The only way someone can disable tracking the Findmy application by deleting an iCloud account from the iPhone owner.
And for that the thief needs to solve your iCloud account that will be a fairly difficult task.
After saying that, only a newer iPhone, like the iPhone 11 and above, will support this feature.
This is because Apple uses Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology.
This is the same technology as Apple used in the airtag to find missing objects.
