Chandigarh: The day after the High-powered Committee (HPC) was formed by the Haryana Government to start a dialogue with farmers to provide a road on the highway to Delhi, back empty-handed from Sonipat, Minister of State House Anil Vij on Monday said the government would update the Supreme Court about The situation.
“In democracy, the problem is resolved through dialogue.
Our committee has gone to Murthal, but they (farmer leaders) do not appear for the most famous reasons.
We will tell this to SC,” Vij said.
He said the government had been asked to solve the problem to ensure the opening of the road to New Delhi.
“The industry almost disappears on the border of Delhi-Haryana; the traffic movement is almost nil and trade has also been beaten,” he added.
Following the direction of the Apex Court, Haryana has formed a committee led by ACS (HOME) Rajeev Arora, to negotiate with farmers.
A meeting has been called on Sunday.
Farmers, however, refused to join a meeting by telling Delhi and Haryana the government had blocked the road by maintaining the wall and placing a barricade.
Because there are problems between centers and countries, they do not attend meetings.
