Vadodara: Royal Gakekwads has unexpected guests at their door on Monday night.
Adult crocodiles have crawled right into the door of Laxmi Vilas Palace decoration around 02:00.
Reptiles for eight feet were furious when looking for a way out of the place.
“A security guard sees the crocodile and tells us.
We rushed to the place immediately and started the rescue operation,” said a forest official.
The team must save crocodiles carefully to ensure that it does not climb the palace steps from the north side.
It took half an hour and a half to save the crocodile.
“It has ventured from the Vishwamitri River which flows behind the palace.
River water flows very quickly because of the rain so that reptiles must come out and look for other water,” the official added.
During the rainy season, many crocodiles roam from the Vishwamitri river and migrate to the nearest pool.
Forest officials say that sometimes young crocodiles also migrate to other locations.
In another incident, the Gujarat community for prevention of cruelty of animals (GSPCA) saved crocodiles from residential areas in Kalaali on Monday.
Five and a half leg long reptiles have roamed into the artificial pool on construction that lacks location.
The volunteers first emptied water from the pool and then save the crocodile.
Previously, a three-foot crocodile had ventured into the Krematorium of Typical and saved by SOS GSPCA and Wildlife volunteers.
Two days ago, the three-foot crocodile was saved from the artificial pool made for soaking idol Ganesh in the Navlakhi compound.
