Chandigarh: In a virtual rebellion on the Congress leadership decision to support the Head of Punjab PCC Navjot Singh Sidhu as the party’s face in the 2022 election, the former Chairman of Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday stated that he would complain of strong candidates for the Bête Noire to “ensure his defeat” in opinion poll.
Amarinder, who has resigned as a cm four days ago quoting an insult to repeat by the party, confirming that he maintained “open options” about his political future.
He said the goal was to prevent Sidhu to be the main minister with his own career costs, including “sacrifice to save the country from dangerous people”.
