Mumbai: While the Covid case seems to have a plateau in Maharashtra with an average of 3,500 detection a day, fixed concerns to Mumbai, where cases edged closer to 500 on Thursday.

Prince Surana said the number of patients at Chembur Hospital had increased in the past week.
“We reduced our covid beds from 69 to 35 weeks ago when our occupancy fell below 10, but on Thursday we were full,” said Dr.

BMC officials, however, are not too disturbed.
“We have infrastructure in place to deal with improvements,” said an official.
The number of critical patients increased from 363 per week back to 375 on September 22.
Meanwhile, active cases in the state fell further to 39,191 while numbers rose to 5,562 in Mumbai.
Senior officials from the state government said that even though the continued constant case in the state, the district had been asked to focus on increasing the number of tests.
