Bus talapady-mangaluru ksrtc to continue today

Mangaluru: The KSRTC bus from Depot Mangaluru will continue the service on the route Mangaluru-Talapady from Friday.
With educational institutions in Dakshina Kannada started in-people to value VI to X and PU, the city bus between Talapady and Mangalore witnessed a large demand during rush hour.

The Govt Kerala bus is the operation of the recovery of the bus from Kerala which operates between Kasaragod and Talapady.
However, the KSRTC bus from the Mangaluru Division has stopped the service due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in Kasaragod Regency and other parts of Kerala.
Because of the lack of buses, daily students and commuters from Kasaragod were made to travel on the city bus packed from Talapady to Manglaela.
Considering daily commuter requests between countries and students from Kasaragod District, District Administration Dakshina Kannada has directed the KSRTC Mangaluru division to continue the service between Mangaluru and Talapady.
Dakshna Kannada Deputy Commissioner K v Rajendra told the Toi that he had directed the KSRTC Division Mangaluru to operate the bus by following the Covid-19 protocol.
“I have instructed KSRTC officials to continue the service between Mangaluru and Talapady,” he said.
KSRTC Mangaluru Divisional Controller S N Aruna said that based on the bus requirements will be operated between Mangaluru and Talapady from the actual Friday, KSRTC bus from Karnataka and Kerala operated between Mangaluru and Kasilagod in a gap three minutes before the pandemic.
After the first lock, the bus service on the route is suspended.
Then, in June and July this year, the KSRTC bus from Mangalore Depot operates between Mangaluru and Talapady.
However, commuter Kerala must be tested every 7 days, because Covid-19 continues in Kerala, the service on the stretch is also suspended, and only the city bus operates between Mangaluru and Talapady.
Daily students and commuters from Kerala are now permitted with RT-PCR negative reports, and they must repeat the test once in seven days.
