Chandigarh: UT police registered three separate fraud cases against other owners and officials from Gupta Builders and Promotors Private Limited since July 2021.
All three cases were registered at the Sector Police Office 34.
Wing Wing Wing (EOW) from the UT police were conducting an investigation.
No arrests have been made so far.
In his complaint, Anoop Kumar of Sector 15 alleged that Satish Kumar, Anupam Gupta, Satish Gupta, Pardeep Gupta and others from the GBP group cheated him Rs 47.50 lakh with the pretext of the sale of housing plots in Mohali.
After verifying the facts, the Sector Police 34 recorded a case against the defendant.
On July 24, the police sector 34 registered two separate cases against the Gupta Pardeep, Satish Gupta and others because of cheating two people around Rs 1.20 Crore with the pretext of showrooms and rooms at the hotel at the hotel.
In his complaint, Amit Kapoor from Sector 34 accused Pardeep Gupta, Satish Gupta and others from GBP Group, Sector 34 delayed him Rs 47.57 lakh with the pretext of selling five rooms at the hotel in the hotel 66 – a Mohali.
The complainant alleged that the defendant did not have legitimate ownership rights to the land and approval from the Real Estate Supervisory Authority (Rera), Punjab.
Other complainants, Meesum Zaidi from Sector 42 accused that the Gupta brothers and others calmed Hospital 70 lakh with the pretext of selling a showroom in a commercial complex at Aeropolis City, Sector 66, Mohali.
Both filed complaints against the owners and others from the GBP group in the SSP public window, the police headquarters, sector 9.
Cases have been registered and further investigation.
