Apple Watch Series 7 was launched next to the new iPhone 13 series on the September event.
While the iPhone has been sold starting today, there has been no confirmation of the Apple Watch date coming to the store, only the guarantee that it will be about the market later this fall.
Meanwhile, a report by Macrumours has claimed that the 7-hour clock will come with a 60.5GHz wireless connection capability secret to transfer data.
This report is based on the FCC document at the same time.
If it is true, this will be the first time Apple products will be launched with such features.
According to the submission of the FCC, the transmitter of 60.5GHz requires “exclusive wireless serial dock” with the appropriate module for data transfer.
The dock is proven to have a “A2687” model number in the document.
It is said that the pier comes with a USB type-C port and uses magnetic levels to “lock Apple Watch in its place.” This means that this external dock will be needed to activate the data transmission on the Apple watch and therefore, create a functioning feature.
To be able to activate a 60.5GHz wireless connection to transfer data, Apple watches need to be placed on this magnetic dock which also has a 60.5GHz module that is appropriate.
Perhaps the feature is only ordered to be used by Apple employees and not by general consumers.
This report claims that this wireless connection at 60.5GHz can transfer data to a speed of 480Mbps as seen with USB 2.0.
