Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 789 new Covid-19 cases and 23 deaths, took the total number of infections to 29,71,833 and the death toll became 37,706, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
That day also saw 1,050 release, pushing the total recovery amount to 29.20,792.
Bengaluru urban recorded 285 new cases, because the city saw 273 release and 8 deaths.
The total number of active cases in this country is 13,306.
While the level of participation for that day was established at 0.58 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.91 percent.
In addition to Bengaluru Urban, the BELOGIVA recorded 5 deaths of Dakshina Kannada and MySuru (3), Udupi (2), followed by others.
After Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada contributed the second highest number of new cases at 108, Mysuru 71 and Udupi 69.
The Urban District of Bengaluru Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,44,959, followed by MySuru 1.77,623 and Tumaku and Tumakuru and Tumakuru 1,20,040 .
