Ghaziabad: The state government has set a target of a dose of 1.3 lakh to drive mega covid vaccination on September 27.
Officials say besides the regular center, Jabs will be given at malls.
Dr.
Bhavtosh Shanthhdhar, Chief Medical Officer, said, “There will be a drive-in facility at the Malls at night after the health team resolves vaccinations in their respective centers.
We are in talks with malls and two of them already on the board.” CMO says the drive will last until evening and effort will be made to cover the maximum number of people.
Officials said they also held a meeting with the association of housing welfare, civil defense and other social organizations to hold vaccination camps.
Apart from this, a plan was also made for vaccination in engineering colleges.
The district has provided a maximum number of jabs in one day – more than 79,000 – on 3.
August.
During the mega vaccination drive was held on the birthday of PM Narendra Modi on September 17, around 74,000 people were vaccinated.
Dr.
GP Mathuria, Vaccination Nodal Officer, said the number of centers will be raised to more than 200 to achieve the next target.
