Thane: The battery of the battered Highway Mumbai-Nashik who was said by the driver caused the inconvenience to be repaired in two weeks, the minister of urban development Eknath Shinde who was also the Minister of the Thane District Guard on Saturday.
Opposition parties and allies recently put up pressure on the government for sad conditions from arterial roads.
“We have published a hard warning to ensure the job is up to Mark and also ordered the works of works that were previously executed,” he said.
Riders complain some stretches, including those on the Xkasheli and Kalwa bridge, have great damage, causing vehicles to crawl to avoid accidents.
Bhiwandi Resident Punk Khimasiya who traveled to Ghatkopar regularly said it was a difficult trip.
He said that approximately 10 km of distance on the artery highway which was originally not 20 minutes to cross now needed at least 2.5 hours to cross because of a hole.
The MajiWada-Wadada Hampt Highway, is also part of the Samruddhi Xmumbai-Nagpur corridor, managed by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) while the part outside is under the authority of the Indian National Highway, the official said.
G Sharma, who claimed to be a regular commuter, tweeted how he walked to Kharegaon in 3.5 hours and still reached faster than his terriblely stranded.
Combined MD in MSRDC, Anil Gaikwad, said, “We have identified the points of problems and coordinated with the traffic department to take the repair block on the route and for a while fixing the hole.”
