Leopard markets Mandya Village, killing eight sheep

Mandya: Residents of Ragimuddanahalli in the Mandya District are a place worried after the leopard deviates to the village, and killed eight sheep at night on Saturday.
The sheep are owned by AkkataYamma, which is understood confused after the loss.
Akkatayamma’s family member woke up on the cry of lamb lament at night, but it was too late to save livestock.
Unfortunately, the big cat killed all the sheep and escaped from the scene.
The villagers are understood disturbed by leopard intrusions to human habitats.
“Leopard enters the warehouse, and kills lamb.
Killing domestic animals in the field of agriculture is truly frightening.
The leopard deviates in human habitat is the reason for concern,” said the villagers who were worried.
AkkataAmma urges the Ministry of Forestry to take steps to capture leopards before prey on more livestock.
He also demanded monetary compensation for the loss he experienced.
Foresters has convinced villagers to place cages and capture leopards.
They warned the residents of Ragimuddanahalli to be vigilant, and alert to their environment until the big cat was arrested.
