Noida: With the election of the country because in the next six months, district administration, along with local groups and local leaders, is establishing a voter registration camp in society.
The selection roll can be updated until the nomination archiving for those who want to vote in the upcoming election.
However, last minute changes are often missed and not reflected in selection rolls.
The group and population officials are now asking people to register as voters so there is enough time before the selection to make changes.
The government also encourages people to register online as voters, especially the first voters between the 18-19 year age group.
Officials said that there were around 8,600 registered voters so far in the age group 18-19.
This is only 0.3% of the total population while at least 70,000-80,000 more people should register in this age group.
“The total district population is estimated to be around 24 lakh and around 3-4% should be in the age group 18-19.
This means that most voters first have not registered.
We begged all occupants in this category to give their voices,” said Vandana Srivastava, additional district judges.
He added that timely registration would only help ensure that there was no last minute confusion.
“The online registration process is very simple now and every step is updated, so that youth who understand new technology feel easier to register for yourself.
They only need to make sure they enter the correct telephone number for all updates,” said Srivastava.
Clothing Block Level (BLO) will begin checking all names in the selection roll for a special summary revision (SSR 2022) from 1 to 30 November.
Before that some people set up camps where residents were asked to fill out the necessary forms 6 or 7.
Volunteers then took the form to the blos to be updated.
“We arrange voter registration camps in four communities every Sunday for the past two weeks.
We took the form filled from occupants and gave it to Blos to be updated.
We also asked people to check their details online and register themselves,” said Sachin Goel, Vice President Noofa.
