Greater Noida: Died 12 years, villagers want to order ‘Dukun’

Greater Noida: The villagers of Jahangirpur protested Jalan Khurja-Jewar, demanding action against two shamans for alleged negligence after a 12-year-old girl undergo treatment from them died on Saturday.
The girl was given three bottles of glucose with a dukun on Saturday, but he died on his way back home.
His parents accused that even though he repeatedly asked if the girl needed care of better facilities, the shaman sent them home.
The girl, who was identified as a child, was undergoing treatment at the JN CARE Center since Thursday.
Udaypal Singh, the father of the deceased, said, “We have never been given a slip for care but have to pay Rs 10,000 for care.
They will give our medicine and send us back.
On Saturday, they call us again and give three bottles of glucose and some drugs .
My daughter was in pain and I even asked the shaman if we had to take him to another facility.
But he said that my daughter would be fine and sent us home.
“Udaypal had given a complaint to the police station jewar against Juhi Bansal and Naved Khan, Manage JN Health Care Center.
The family said that while the Bansal managed drugs, the center was run by Naved and both did not have the necessary degrees.
Meanwhile, villagers from Jahangirpur protested and demanded fir and captured in this case.
The girl’s grandfather, Mahipal Singh, said that despite visiting the police station and the Jahangirpur Chowki police, they made us leave somewhere elsewhere.
We also told them that the shaman closed the center and escaped, he said.
The protest was called after the ACP 4 (Greater Noida) Rudra Pratap Singh and Sho Sho Umesh Bahadur arrived at the place and convinced a fair investigation in this case.
ACP said, “If the doctor is guilty, they will be imprisoned.” A FIR was submitted under the 304 IPC (punishment for guilty killings did not amount to murder).
Sho Jewar Umesh Bahadur said that they were investigating this problem.
“So far, we found that they had no degree and they run the center for the past four-five months,” he said.
