Lucknow: Lucknow University Receipt Portal continues to give a difficult time for undergraduate candidates who struggle to fill their subjects and choices of their universities during online counseling on Monday.
Some candidates complain that they face problems in sending counseling costs which are required steps before locking major, small subjects and university / college choices.
The candidates also complained that the RS 700 costs were deducted from their account, but the reception portal continued to bring up the option to pay fees and then continue.
“On Sunday the portal was really unresponsive and on Monday it was finally opened but as soon as I fill in the details of the name and bank, I received a password once to pay the fee and after entering the OTP the number of Rs 700 was deducted, but the portal was hung.
When I Login I was asked to pay a fee again, “said a candidate Ba Astha Singh.
“When at the first attempt, my fee was not sent on the portal I tried again and the number of Rs 700 was deducted twice, but the payment status I remained unpaid,” said another candidate Aditya.
The candidates said that the university had to extend the last date of charging the choice because the counseling portal was damaged by interference.
“Wednesday is the last day to fill the choice and the portal does not work properly.
We asked LU authorities to correct this problem and extend the last date in student interest,” said BSC (biology) of the candidate of Anamics Singh.
Lu Durgesh Srivastava spokesman acknowledged that the portal faced a disturbance said, “Students do not need to worry, the reduced amount will be replaced within 24 hours.
We are trying to fix this problem.”
