Deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad (representing BJP), Minister of Education Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Minister of Rural Development Shrawan Kumar, Minister of Construction of Ashok Choudhary Building (Trio of JD-U), Minister of Mukesh Fish Resources Sahni (U) Senior Officials, Ranjeet Kumar Jha , Saurabh Nidhi (Munger) and several other JD (U) leaders were present at the Bihar Vidhan Sabha Library Hall when the officers returned to the election certificate to the Nazes.
The selection of by-elections is needed after the infinite JD (U) death, MLC Tanweer Akhtar, who died of Covid-19 in a government hospital in Patna on May 8 this year.
Previously on September 21, JD (U) decided to serve the widow of Akhtar Nazh as his candidate for the selection of by-election.
With the election of Nazhish, the total number of members of JD (U) in the 75-year-old legislative council has increased to 23, eight more than BJP allies that have 15 members.
Other NDA allies – VIP and each human rights have one member at home.
Among the Allies of Mahagathbandhan, RJD has five members, Congress (three) and CPI (two).
Sarvesh Kumar, who was elected from the constituency of Postgraduate Darbhanga, was the only independent member of the council.
24 other chairs, which are filled through election by local authority members, empty.
