Ahmedabad: If your car suspension has begun to make a sound, the city’s bumpy roads must be blamed.
On Monday, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) revealed that between July 1 to September 24, he fixed around 16,000 holes on various roads.
Most potholes are in Ghatlodia, Thaltej, Gota, Bodakdev, Chandkheda and Bopal in the western zone of the city.
It was followed by the North Zone, which included areas such as Sardenagar, Krishnagar, Sijpur, Naroda and Kubernagar, followed by the East Zone.
“We fix most of these holes but there are still a few hundred to be repaired,” Hitesh Barot said, Chairman of the AMC remained Committee.
AMC filled 15,842 holes from 16,056 found in the July-September period, leaving 214 holes to be filled.
277 holes are on the bridge in the city.
The hole was repaired using Wetmix, Coldmix, Jetpatcher and Hotmix repair techniques.
