The group made a replica of the website of large companies and gave fake franchisees to people in exchange for money.
Lucknow Cyber Cell on Tuesday arrested Vivekananda, an alumni of a private MBA college in Bhopal, Shivendra, a graduate of Btech from a Gurgaon Private Institute and Sachidananda, a graduate of Science from the University of Magadh.
The three are genuine residents of Bihar.
According to the police, Vivekananda hand in hand with his brother Sachidananda after he lost Rs 8 lakh per year of work during a pandemic.
Techie Shivendra also joins.
They all want to maintain their usual lifestyle.
Cybercell caught the gang after a chaturvedi devrat was tricked by Rs 3 Lakh on behalf of the franchisee of the well-known snack company in Aashiana.
When working on this case, Cybercell also got a similar complaint from Jaunpur, where Vinod Gupta businessman swaffed from Rs 2 Crore with the pretext of sharing him Warranchisee a US car company.
ACP Cybercell Vivek Ranjan Rai said, “Vivekananda and Sachidananda many times in the Shivendra who used to design a website similar to the original and in return, given the share of money obtained.” Looks original, gang members used to pose as the top boss of the company and talk to people.
“The bank account where the gang asked the victims to transfer money all based in Maharashtra, Delhi or Metropolis like Bengaluru,” ACP said.

Gang has made more than Rs 5 Crore in the past two years, overriding entrepreneurs in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Hananchal Pradesh, and Gujarat.
Two members of Gang-Kanhaiya Kumar and Suman Kumar were in runaway.
