CM Gehlot urges the center to reduce various fuel taxes

Jaipur: Chief of Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot Wednesday demanded the center of reducing various types of taxes on fuel to provide assistance to ordinary people from price increases.
“The price of gasoline / diesel is controlled even though crude oil prices reached $ 100 per barrel during the upa-II regime.
Now crude oil costs continue continuously, and will soon touch $ 80 per barrel in a few days,” said Gehlot in a tweet in Hindi .
“This center must take steps immediately and provide relief to ordinary people by reducing various customs,” he said.
Gehlot said the center had imposed various types of customs on gasoline and diesel where stating had no parts.
Memberang break, the minister’s head said if the price of one liter of diesel in Rajasthan is Rs 98.80, then the center requires Rs 31.80 from him, leaving only Rs 21.78 in the country.
Gehlot said that considering the poor financial conditions of the state after Covid, the center must provide assistance to ordinary people by reducing additional customs, customs, and agricultural CESS.
