Hyderabad: Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) on Thursday booked Stockist and Traders Sri Krishna Private Limited to cheat Bank Canara RS 338 Crore.
A pine has been submitted against the Director of the Company Thota Kanna Rao and Thota Venkata Ramana who came from East and West God Godavari in the AP.
The company was founded in 2009 and entered the corn and trade seed Neem.
It was approved working capital of Rs 65 Crore (RS 35 Crore from Bank India and Rs 30 Crore from the IDBI Bank).
The defendant then approached Canara Bank, Hyderabad, because of the takeover of the limits of Bank India with increasing working capital to RS 182 Crore for 2014-15 and 2015-16.
The defendant regarding credit from Canara Bank by submitting the balance sheet that was fabricated and then transferring funds, causing the incorrect loss of Rs 338 Crore to the bank.
