Gurgaon: Wing Enforcement of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) on Thursday destroyed the farmhouse, Dhabas and houses that came in the main road alignment to be associated with Dwarka Expressway.
About one kilometer-length stretch is removed to open the way for the construction of the 95-95A road separation sector.
This road will connect the Dwarka toll road with the Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari highway proposed in the future, an official said.
Two farmhouses, eight houses, four shops and one Dhaba were excavated to clear the road for road construction.
On Thursday, a team consisting of Yashwant Singh SDO (survey), Junior Sandeep Lot Engineer, Lalit Hans, Anand Prakash, Pankaj Verma and Oomphachash were carried out drives demolition with police assistance.
“Today, we clean around one km-stretch to complete the construction of the 95A-95B road separation sector.
The road has been declared a national highway and we will surrender the land to Nhai.
The landowner has been compensated,” said SDO Yashwant Singh.
With this road settlement, Dwarka Expressway, NH-8 and the National Highway Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari 46 km will be interrelated.
The Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari highway is expected to be ready on December 2022.
The highway is part of the NH-352 which has a length of around 46.11 km.
The project will be executed by NHAI, and it will have 99 culverts, 12 small bridges, one underpass for pedestrians and small vehicles, 13 underpasses, two flyovers and one Rob.
The road will have three exchange connections to allow people to leave the road or take it easily.
