Thane: Locals sighed for relief because Kalyan’s twin cities and dombivli in the Thane Maharashtra district saw more recovery than the new Covid-19 case on Saturday.
In the past 24 hours, the cities reported 58 new Coronavirus cases, while 69 people recovered from them, according to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC).
Also, only one new death that appears within the body limit of Civic.
Kalyan West and Dombivli East noted 17.
In Kalyan East, 11 people were tested positive for Covid-19 and five in Dombivli West.
Six new cases appeared in Manda-Titwala and two in the Mohan area.
The total number of recovery within the KDMC limit is at 1,39,427, and currently, 741 people undergo treatment for Covid-19.
Kalyan and Dombivli have witnessed a rapid surge in new cases since the last few days.
In an effort to encourage people not to let their guards fight viruses, the Civic’s body has intensified its hard action on violators.
The number of Rs 7.98 lakh was collected only in September as a fine of people who were caught moving without masks and supporting Covid-19 norms.
