Rajkot: A 30-year-old woman who lives in Jamkhambhaliya was booked on Saturday because it caused burns to his stepson because of eating food without asking permission.
Chief of the Child Welfare Committee Chandrashekhar Budhbhatti submitted a complaint after a video of Rajul Bhogayata did not take care of his 10-year-old stepman into a viral.
According to the police, Bhogayata has caused an injury with an iron pan heated on the girl’s feet.
The girl’s grandmother has recorded a video of bad treatment and circulates it among her relatives to embarrass Bhogayata.
This video is then circulated by one of the relatives.
When Budhbhatti also found a video, he asked an official to investigate.
During a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the girl had eaten some of the food she sentenced.
Then, the woman tried to strangle her and also threatened to kill her.
In the past too, the girl was beaten by her stepmother and was not given food.
The girl’s grandmother will approach the police, but then Bhogayata promised that she would not endanger the girl and the settlement was reached.
However, at that time the video became a viral and the child welfare committee had begun its investigation.
Based on complaints of Budhbhatti, Bhogayata was ordered for the attack, criminal intimidation, and violation of Juvenile Act judges at the Jamkhambhaliya police station.
