Chennai: The new integrated airport terminal has begun to form because more than 75% of construction has been completed.
The building that appears in the room between domestic and international terminals is likely to be ready before March next year.

A AAI official said that around 75% of the work of the stage of one of the construction had been completed and the building would be more or less ready in a few months.
After the building is over, the work will begin to divert international arrival from an old building to an integrated terminal.
“Discussions have begun to sort out shift details.
All systems, equipment, offices and other facilities need to be moved and reinstalled in the new building.
We have to test and ensure that everything is very easy before fully migrating passenger operations to the new building.
This is considered a big challenge.
After the shift is complete, the old arrival building will be pulled down and the new one will be built, “he added.
The Government Government has set deadlines in December 2022 to complete the entire project.
