Maharashtra reported 2,401 cases and 39 deaths on Tuesday.
New cases in Mumbai rose to 427 after dipping to 339 the previous day.
Daily deaths remain constant in two, with the total victims at 16,127 so far.
Meanwhile, the neighbors Thane registered the highest daily covid pioneositives on Monday since the first week of August.
Thane recorded a 4% test level of test as 61 patients tested positively from a total of 1521 tests carried out.
“Our daily testing level has been stable around 1.3% and there is no cluster except medical students who test positive at KEM Hospital,” said BMC official.
“All affected students have attended a meeting that causes the spread.” The number of active cases and those who are under quarantine is firmly increase, but BMC officials believe in the increase in cases have not been worried.
Dr.
Shashank Joshi, member of the state government assignment unit in Covid-19, said that the focus must now be on vaccination and reduction of Covid-19 death to zero.
“We must ensure vaccination continues at high speed.
We must be able to identify areas and areas where vaccination has not taken and carried out a special drive,” he said.
Joshi said another important thing was to ensure that people did not give up on the appropriate behavior of Covid.
“Covid is still there.
Covid’s death still happens.
We are unable to compare,” he said.
The main focus of the health machine must ensure Covid’s death is zero, Dr.
Joshi added.
