We have heard of ‘family-run’ business but here is a ‘family run away robbery case where husband and wife will coordinate to steal valuables.
The couple was arrested by police RT Nagar recently for the alleged theft of 193 grams of gold jewelry worth Rs 8.5 lakh.
Police beat the duo from Vinayaka Talkies in Byrasandra and restore jewelry from them.
The jewelry belongs to Vijyalakshmi, 53 years old who lives in the layout of Manjunatha from RT Nagar.
When leaving for work around 8:30 a.m.
on September 16, he locked his house and hid the key near the window.
When he returned home at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the key was in the same place and the door was locked.
But when he entered, he saw that the gold ornaments were gone.
He reported this to the RT Police Station Nagar suspected theft.

During the investigation, fingerprints found biometric data in an apartment that returned to the suspect theft in Malleswaram which took place in 2019.
The defendant was interrogated and revealed that the husband, who was recognized in a local organization, would go around where he was looking for rented accommodation.
However, when he did, he would spy on potential homes he could steal at night.
He also identified houses where family members would keep the keys outside carelessly because people assumed that their ‘secret’ location could not be considered by others.
Then, his wife and he will return to these homes and while husbands will be on guard outside, the wife will enter the houses and steal booty.
So far, six cases have been ordered to them including three theft of a house reported at the RT Nagar police station connected with a partner.
The case of extortion and robbery has also been registered against the defendant at Ramamurthy Nagar, Yeshwanthpur, Ashok Nagar, DJ Halli, Annapoorneshari Nagar, Vivek Nagar, Bellandur, Vidhan Soudha, Kothanur, Madiwala and Kr Police Stations.
The couple had previously been released on guarantee after being imprisoned for 15 days in March 2021 in connection with the theft of the Kruram police station.
