TN Rural Deviles: First Phase Polling Developing Peace

Chennai: The first phase of voting for local rural polls in nine Tamil Nadu districts developed peacefully on Wednesday, except for some violent incidents and polls.
Nine Kabupaten – Chengalpet, Kalakurichi, Kancheepuram, Ranipet, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Tirupattor, Vellore and Villupuram – Registered 7.7% Polling up to 9am.
Polling at Ullavoor Panchayat in Walajath Union in Kancheepuram District was stopped after the name of a commander was wrongly spelled.
The name of the Lakshmi candidate was MissSpelt as Dhanalakshmi and this problem was considered after several voters used their rights and supporters of the candidates signed a war with poll officers suddenly stopped polling.
The tension gripped the polling booth at the Sipcot government school place in Ranipet District when the Putra DMK party in power and opposition the AIADMK party signed a duel match.
AIADMK men accused the DMK people to check the sound for their candidates at the polling booth.

The State Election Commission identified 3,409 sensitive booths in nine districts with the help of each collector and police supervisor.
The voting process was recorded in 1,132 rooms and was immediately concluded from 1,123 booth while 12,318 cubicles had CCTV facilities.
