Ahmedabad: The direction of the stern was issued by the state government to the recent citizenship authority to ensure that the streets of Ahmedabad City were repaired in the specified time.
Remembering that Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has now warned Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRCL) to ensure that 12 main road stretches along the Metro corridor were immediately repaired, because they were currently not motorbikes.
AMC has asked Metro Rail officials to avoid missing a periodic road repair meeting and has been looking for GMRSCL representation for road repair meetings on October 10 or facial consequences.
In a firm letter to GMRCL, AMC has said, “It might also be noted that the failure to attend the October 10 meeting will be taken seriously and this notice will be limited to attending the same thing and the cost of GMRCL.” A copy of the letter with TOI.

Mehta said that the meeting of repair work was summoned on August 12 but the metrorail construction company was unable to comply with deadlines and ensure timely improvement.
“You are aware it has been decided that all parallel roads with the Metro route must be stored in good condition and managed by GMRCL.
In this case it is once again indicated that under the stretch of road is repaired based on the basis,” said the letter.
Among 12 stretches was the intersection of the helmet-vijay, trading six roads to the intersection of the stadium, followed by Junction Havmor to the High Court and Jalan Riverfront approach.
AMC also claims that in many stretches along the Metro corridor, storm waterways and muddy sewers and damaged and need a complete repair or replacement work.
Meanwhile, AMC for the past 10 days has contained road fillings throughout the city.
“Between July 1 and October 3, the Civic body has patched 20,369 holes in poor stretches using a wet mixture, a cold mixture and heat mixed asphalt,” AMC official said.
