Polling Bhowanipore: BJP secures the lead in 11% booth
Written by news2in

Kolkata: Even though there was a setback at Bhowanipore, BJP managed to maintain a handle above several traditional election bases in Kolkata’s luxury area, with Tibhewal Priyanka ensured the lead in at least 31 polling and finishing couplers close to the Trinamool Congress in almost a dozen.
More booths.
In the absolute number, however, Tibewal managed to secure tin in the 11% room in the Bhowanipore constituency, compared with 32% five months ago.
At Ward 63, the area includes Lord Sinha Road, Camac Street, Theater Road, Pretoria Street Wood Street and Hungerford Street, BJP has minimal sound erosion.
It is certain to lead in 13 polling booths compared to the last 16 times, of the 27 rooms in the ward.
Composed most of the high increase, this area has become the basis for BJP for a decade.
In booths like 14, 19, 20, 24 and 27, the Trinamool Congress bagged almost half of what BJP was obtained.
“Most of these are high-rise areas where people come out to choose despite intimidation.
In other areas they move away from voting,” said Tibrewal.
“Apart from the weakness of the organization in Bhowanipore’s bag, we worked hard all year on the ward where we managed to get some instructions.
Interestingly, we cannot secure the direction in the booth where the percentage of polling is very high,” said Sajal Ghosh, head of the election of iprewal.
Ward 74 consists of a luxury residential area such as Belvedere Road, Alipore Road and King Santosh Mohan Road.
Of the 40 vote booths in this locality Tibhal is guaranteed to lead in 11 booths compared to 21 five months ago.
At least four rooms, BJP has almost doubled from what TMC has.
At Ward 70, where BJP managed to lead since the 2011 assembly poll, he faced the defeat of Jadu Babu Bazar – Jalan Elgin.
This area has a cosmopolitan demographic with the Marwari, Gujarati and Sindhi population.
“Many of them don’t come out to choose.
We were even stopped from the campaign in this area.
National Vice President of the Dilip Party Ghosh faced resistance from the locals here,” said a leader of BJP South Kolkata.
Five months ago, Ward 70 had ensured the lead at 22 booths while this time could secure tin only in four chambers.
At Ward 72, the house for TMC Subrata Bakshi leader, BJP managed to lead in two booths compared to the last 10 times.
“There is intimidation and our party workers are not permitted to function properly.
The situation is the same in the ward like 71 where Ghosh was attacked during the campaign,” said Navin Mishra, a member of the BJP State Executive Committee.
However, in public settlements from the economically weaker part, the BJP source shows that the welfare project such as Laxmi Bhandar has an impact.
