Chennai: Special Court for the CBI case in Chennai on Thursday was sentenced by Irs R Sekar, and Anwar Hussain officers, the owner of the classic tour & travel, up to four years in prison who was disproportionate in cases of disproportionate assets.
The total fine of RS 6.10 Lakh was also charged on them, a official statement said.
The CBI registered a case against Sekar, which later became an emigrant protector in Chennai, his wife and Shri Anwar Hussain (Personal) on charges of having disproportionate assets.
Allegedly that during the period January 2007 to July 20, 2009, Sekar and his wife entered the conspiracy among themselves to obtain poor wealth of the Nada Rs 2.08 Crore, which was disproportionate with their known source of income.
The CBI accused the acquisition and ownership of this asset by Sekar and his wife conspired with Anwar Hussain, travel agent.
Also alleged that Sekar has appointed an Anwar Hussain travel agent as a conduit for bribery collection in the form of fast money to issue emigration permits.
After the investigation, the CBI submitted a chargesheet against the defendant to have assets to the Nada RS 2.08 Crore which was 471.05% disproportionate with known income sources.
The trial court found the two accused of guilty and punished them.
The court has freed the wife of public servants.
