Mangaluru: The level that crosses in Pachanady will remain closed for a month to facilitate the concrete road approach to a new road on the bridge (Rob) built by South Railway.
As part of the final foot of Rob’s construction, the work for re-assessing and concrete road approaches on the side of the Bondel and Vamanjoor projects scheduled to be taken between October 10 and November 10 to facilitate work, The Level Crossing (No.
6A) in Pachanady will remain closed for Road traffic from October 10.
Vehicles will be transferred to an alternative route.
Thus, four-wheeled light can take alternative routes via PWD Bund Road from Pachanady.
Heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks can decorate Kulshekhara to reach Vamanjoor from Bondel.
Rob will ensure the hassle free access from Bondel and Vamanjoor.
Rob 27.95m Length and 12m width are being built with estimates of the cost of RS 5 Crore utilizing funds from the tracking track project.
The old rob was only 9.25 m and a width of 6m.
Work on the road approach – 150m on the side of the bondel and 100m on the Vamanjoor side – is being executed as part of the project, stating releases.
