Mumbai: Maharashtra on Thursday reported 2,681 positive cases of new Coronavirus, took the overall infection calculation to 65,70,472, while the death of 49 people encouraged the victim to 1,39,411, the health department said.
A total of 2,413 patients were restored and removed during the day, which increased the amount of recovery to 63,94,075, he said in a statement.
There are 33,397 active cases in the country today.
The recovery rate of Covid-19 Maharashtra is at 97.32 percent, while the mortality rate is 2.12 percent.
Like 1,47,320 people tested during the day, the number of cumulative tests of the state reached 5,97,66,957.
Mumbai City reported 453 cases and five deaths.
So far, 7.47,156 cases and 16,141 deaths have been recorded in the metropolitan city.
The Mumbai division, which consists of cities and the city of satellites, recorded 995 cases and seven deaths during the day.
The number of cases of infection and deaths are recorded so far by each of these regions 16.83,489 and 35,320.
The Nashik division reported 490 new cases, including 376 in the Ahmednagar district; Pune Division 878 cases, including 343 in Pune District; Kolhapur Division 167 Case, Aurangabad Division 43 Cases, Division Latur 71 Cases, Division Akola 19 Cases and Distribution of Nagpur 18 Cases.
Three deaths were reported in the Division of Akola, while there was no death because the virus was reported in the Aurangabad and Nagpur division.
