Lucknow: A 14-year-old boy was arrested for a small murder of neighbors in Rae Bareli on Friday.
The defendant claims he believes that Satyam (7) has killed his brother by pushing him to a pond in September last year.
To avenge his brother’s death, the defendant invited Satayam to take a walk on Wednesday, taking him to the fields and strangled him.
Then, he threw away Satayam’s body in the ditch and escaped.
The body recovered on Wednesday by police.
Post-Mortem revealed that satyam was suffocated.
The police arrested a minor accused of Friday after a tip-off, which was strengthened by an underage child following his question, police said.
The incident was revealed on Wednesday, when Malti, the mother of Satyam who died, could not see his son playing outside.
He then told other villagers who started hunting.
The body recovered 800 meters in front of his house.
Malti then only raises suspicion to its neighbors.
Sho, Jagatpur, Jitendra Kumar Singh, told Tii that the defendant had made an evil plan to invite the seven-year-old boy to kill him.
“The victim’s body was also thrown out in a ditch to hold a case of an accident,” Sho said.
