Mumbai: Diesel price across RS 100 Mark in Mumbai on Saturday morning, with rates rising 100.29 per liter in the pump.
Gasoline prices have also been hiking to rs 109.83 per liter today.
Prices of gasoline and diesel in Thane and Navi Mumbai are Rs 109.97 and Rs 100.42 per liter.
The highest gasoline price is in Parbhani in Maharashtra at Rs 112.39 per liter.
Diesel is very expensive in Amravati at Rs 101.83 per liter on Saturday.
Climbing related to the increase in global crude oil prices and value for rupees vis vis dollar, said officials from oil marketing companies.
Transporter plans an emergency meeting on Monday to discuss the issue of a diesel increase because 75% of their current transportation costs on fuel.
