New Delhi: Head of the Karnataka Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday said the New National Education Policy (NEP) was the needs of the clock to enable Indian students to compete in the 21st century, while confirming that the RSS view on NEP was nationalistic.

He also said there was nothing wrong with what RSS said about NEP.

In opposition parties criticized NEP, BJP leader said Congress was part of political history and which was why it was thinking about history because it was suitable for it.
