Kanpur: Immediately after the arrest of two police officers, including the inspector suspended JN Singh and Sub-Inspector Akshay Mishra, was accused of the murder of the city of Manish Gupta, on Sunday, Meenakshi’s sad wife demanded a death sentence for them.
Speaking with reporters, he said the agency had arrested two of the six police officers accused of, but he wanted them to be hung and the others were accused of being arrested soon.
“I will continue my struggle,” Meenakshi said.
In a tweet, he said all the defendants had to be arrested before his husband’s birthday Manish Gupta on October 16.
“It would be better if all my husband’s murderers were caught before his birthday which fell on October 16,” he tweeted.
He also demanded that his trial must be done at Kanpur.
“I want the case trial to be held at the Kanpur court because I can’t travel to Gorakhpur with my little boy.
Besides that, I don’t want to step on the ground (Gorakhpur) who destroyed my life and my child,” he said.
“I will beg for the chairman of the Yogi Adityanath minister about this,” he added.
Meenakshi has marked a letter of gift declaration containing photographs of police accused, where RS 25,000 gifts were increased to Rs 1 Lakh.
He also appealed to people to work together and ensure he became justice for her husband and the defendant was placed behind bars.
