Bengaluru: nineteen people from two gangs were arrested for luring thousands of people throughout the country with part-time job offers, and allegedly deceiving them more than Rs 30 Crore.
The two gangs have a Chinese link.
Konanakunte police arrested five people for allegedly sucking more than Rs 25 Crore from thousands of victims.
Crime was revealed after the complaint submitted by an individual in March, who said he cheated on more than Rs 4 lakh by fraudsters.
The case was registered at the CEN SOUTH and Harish Pandey Crime Police Station, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), formed a special team in April to investigate.
The complainant said he was approached by someone with a part-time job offer.

The police verified more than 200 bank accounts, 110 of them with the total balance of Rs 11 Crore had been frozen.
People who lost money for gang have been asked to contact the police.
In similar fraud, police Banashankari arrested 14 gangsters.
