Greater Noida: The situation of the power supply in the city is increasing on Wednesday and there is no list done for urban areas.
Most rural areas have electricity for an additional hour during the day, such as the three hours list for the past few days.
There was a daily shortage of 40MW but his request was around 380MW, down from 410 MW in the past few days.
On Wednesday, officials at the Department of Power said there might be deviations at night during the peak request hours and the industrial sector was alerted about a list of rotations from 6 to 9 nights for the next few days.
In Noida, the supply is regular throughout the day, officials said.
“Adequate power supply is available on Wednesday.
Because the situation is dynamic, we monitor all day,” said Sarnath Ganguly, General Manager, Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) which supplies electricity to Greater Noida.
He added that supply will depend on daily availability.
“At night, the power supply becomes a problem because demand increases.
On Tuesday, we have about three hours of shedding loads in industrial estates.
But there is no blackout in urban areas,” he said.
Ganguly added that NPCL was able to supply power in rural areas for an additional hour on Wednesday.
Over the past few days, most of these places get three hours of electricity every day, the company has the power of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh.
Against a 410MW daily request over the past few days, on Wednesday, Greater Noida recorded a request of 380MW.
Supply is being added through solar plants and winds in Gujarat and other Uttar Pradesh regencies, officials in the department of power.
“We also get the strength of Indian energy exchanges at Rs 20 per unit at times,” Ganguly said.
Greater Noida residents have faced blackouts because the electricity supply deficit related to coal deficiency in plants and state governments has decided to take personal help to increase supply.
Over the past few days, while urban areas in the city faced a blackout of around an average hour, the village had seen a power outage for two-three hours every day.
