(Mecl) are likely to arrive in Goa next week to make a location visit to find out whether there is vegetation or residence in mining rentals 77.
The state government has provided documents related to this 77 rent for Mecl.
The site inspection will be done before deciding to measure the ore lying in this rent.
After the quantity is determined, the rental will be auctioned.
The previous state government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mecl to identify a new iron ore mine in the state.
A senior official said that Mecl would start exploration on sites after verifying documents, and added that they would only visit the rental that the documentation was deleted.
