Mumbai: For the fifth time this month, the Covid Tally daily rose more than 500 (546) on Thursday in Mumbai.
The city has registered the highest increase in cases in a state where 17 districts have less than 100 active cases.
“A little increase in numbers caused by key opening processes.
Since August 16, we have opened trains, restaurants, schools and places of worship, which resulted in crowding and social interactions that can encourage transmission,” said the additional Commissioner BMC Suresh Kakani.
BMC daily dash shows a marginal increase in the number of critical patients up to 323 after falling below 300 last weekend.
However, overall residential beds for covid patients in the city are still around 10.46% and ICU occupancy has been stable at 25% for weeks now.

The state reported 2,384 cases and 35 deaths, took the total case to 65.8 lakh and death to 1.39,705.
Although the Kasel in Maharashtra has increased in accordance with the numbers of Mumbai, a member of the state assignment group, Dr.
