Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Thursday provided temporary protection from the arrest to Mandakini Khadse, the wife of former Minister of Revenue Eknath Khadse, after she challenged the command of the Special PMLA court, which on Tuesday issued a warrant that was not stretched against it.
The trial court has refused his anxiety guarantee as unreached.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has investigated Khadse’s eknath and his relatives for the alleged purchase of fraud from the government’s plot in the MIDC Pune region five years ago.
This body is currently investigating alleged money laundering cases.
Justice Nitin Sampre from HC to hear the senior adviser Mandakini Khadse King Thakary and Advice Ed Sandesh Patil, posted a problem to hear on December 7.
The court directed that if Mandakini was arrested before that, he had to be released with a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
HC also directed it to attend Office Ed every Tuesday and Friday, starting October 17 between 10am and 14:00, until the next hearing.
