Noida: City recorded his first Covid death in four months on Wednesday.
The patient was a 67-year-old woman who had visited a private hospital in sector 62 to check-up after her chest pain.
He was accepted on October 10 and he passed the next day.
But death was added to the calculation of Wednesday, officials said.
The last Covid death in Gautam Budh Nagar was recorded on June 13.
“The patient was received on October 10 because his condition began to deteriorate, we learned that the Covid test was positive.
The test has been done when he admitted according to the protocol.
The woman died the following day.
He has comorbidity,” said Dr.
Sunil Sharma, a medical officer’s head.
(CMO) Health officials say that women have heart condition, hypertension, diabetes and hypothyroidism.
During contact contacts, it was found that he used to live with her husband and housemaid.
The two of them were tested.
The covid test report was positive and he was in house isolation.
Domestic assistance was found negative.
So far this month, more than 30 Covid cases have been reported in Noida and since August, six Covid patients must be hospitalized.
Overall, 63,335 cases have been reported in Noida and the death toll at 467.
While one death was recorded between January and March this year, the number jumped up to 213 in April and 143 in May, when the second wave struck.
April sees 17,358 Covid cases and may have 18,729 cases.
So far this year, the victim died the highest in April.
In June, the number of cases dropped to 640 and 16 deaths were recorded.
This month has a level of death as high as 2.5%.
In July, 156 Covid cases were detected in Gautam Budh Nagar.
“Many districts have not reported a case in the past few months.
But our district has reported several cases almost every day.
