Pratapgarh: A woman based in Jaunpur along with two of his mercy was arrested by Pratapgarh police on Wednesday for making a failed offer to squeeze Rs 2 lakh from a police officer, posted in Pratapgarh Regency.
The woman accused of squeezing the police by threatening him that he would make false accusations against him if he failed to pay the money.
Women with their accomplices were booked under 584 and 420 IPCs with the Patti Police Station.
The people who were arrested were identified as Roshni Saroj, Akhilesh Saroj and Mukesh Singh each of them were residents of Jaunpur and Bhadohi.
Police Patti said, a woman who was impressive when Kajal Yadav and Kaserua residents in Jaunpur District had been called a police officer posted in Pratapgarh Regency on his cellphone and offered friendship.
When the police received friendship and began chatting with him, he was looking for Rs 2 Lakh ransom from the police and also threatened that he would file a fake brilliant against him.
