Guwahati: Earthquake 3.3 Magnitude Shook Assam on Thursday, said an official met here.
The earthquake struck 11.06 in the morning and the earthquake center was in the Lakhimpur District, the official said.
There are no reports of losing human life or damage to property so far, the source in the police department.
The earthquake occurred in Latitude 27.35 North and Longitude 94.19 Timur at a depth of 10 km, deputy center of regional meteorology (RMC) Deputy Director of Sanjay O’Neil Shaw told PTI.
