Vadodara: Botanyfest Foundation, a startup incubated by innovation, Startup and Entepreneurship Universitas M, launched Phytohunt 3.0 on Saturday in garden plants Arboretum-cum-drugs on the university campus.
Phytohunt (Phyto-Plant, Hunt-to Search) is the Treasure Hunt Plant-Centric game where players must complete instructions for plants given in puzzles.
The first version of Phytohunt is truly outdoor and is done every year for four years in a botanyfest at Waghai Botanical Garden.
“Version 3.0 is based on plants present at the Botanical Gardens,” said Krishna Singh Rajput, Director of the Botanyfest Foundation, the first startup of the MSU faculty of science began by the Alumni of the Botanical Department.
“During the pandemic, to get rid of studies and regular boredoms, we have started Phytohunt Online on Instagram.
After success in Gujarat, we organize it for Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu,” Rajput said, added that this game was based on historical significance, Mythological, medicine and biogeographic plants under that state.
In Phytohunt 3.0, players must find plants in the park based on the smell, taste and appearance given in the form of puzzles on the website.
After finding plants in the park, they must confirm the factory with the help of the website to get the next instructions or puzzle.
The first player to solve instructions and find treasure in the garden became a winner.
“This game is compiled to create interest in plants among students in schools and colleges and to develop logical thinking and reasons, solving problems and communication skills in it,” he said.
“We will apply the same game to the Kamatibauug garden and slowly cover all parks and park Vadodara before their replication for parks and parks throughout the state,” added Rajput.
