Thiruvananthapuram: a high-level meeting called by the Head of Pinarayi Vijayan here on Saturday decided to increase rescue operations in several heavy rain.

CM asked the officials concerned to maintain a strict surprise on the water surface of the dam and asked the district scavengers to ensure that the people who lived on the river were warned before.
“People must be warned first and have to be given enough time to stay away from their homes, in an emergency,” he said.
